The Science

Our All Set soft Touch Styling Foam is powered by polyquaterniums; conditioning and shape-forming polymers that help smooth the hair cuticle, reduce friction, and improve resistance against humidity. Because textured hair naturally carries a negative charge, these positively charged conditioning agents help improve slip, softness, detangling, and style longevity.

However. Technique matters just as much as formula.

For stronger, longer-lasting hold, hair should be styled while wet and fully dried using indirect heat like a hooded dryer or diffuser attachment. When hair is wet, hydrogen bonds inside the strand are temporarily broken. As the hair dries, those bonds reform and “set” the style into place.

That’s why fully drying your hair after applying styling foam is one of the most important steps for reducing frizz and improving style longevity. The key is "setting" the cast, hence the muse behind our styling foam's name. 

The Inspiration

All Set Soft Touch Styling Foam was inspired by a classic salon foaming lotion many of us grew up with; the wraps, braids, molded styles, and roller sets that somehow lasted through humidity, long days, and everyday life.
